Year 1 went to Australia!

In year 1 we went to Australia but only pretend! While on the aeroplane we watched a film it was good. When we arrived we went in groups to the beach. We went sunbathing and body boarding. In the afternoon we ate hotdogs and salad that we made ourselves. It was great!    

Year 5/6 on top in indoor athletics!

Yesterday yr 5 and 6 went to an indoor athletics tournament at Kenilworth School. At the end the boys came 1st out of all schools and the girls came 3rd. It was an amazing experience and we all had lots of fun. There were different events such as speed bounce, javelin and running.

On Monday year 2 were very lucky because Pudding Pie came and taught us how to make Spring rolls Noodles. This linked to our topic on China. Not many people liked the Noodles but a bit more people liked the Spring rolls. We made a special sauce to go with it was called a salsa sauce. I didn’t like it but I had a great time and so did my friends.

Year 3/4 had a visit from Mrs Starkey

We had a visit from Mrs Starkey who told us about Uyogo, a village in Tanzania. She showed us a farming tool, some pictures, some toys that they would have made and a doll. She also showed us what the mum would have worn to carry her baby. It was really interesting and has helped us with our topic theme of Africa.
